Unique…amazing

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  1 Peter 4:10

For You formed my inward parts, you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Psalm 139: 13-14  

But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. 1 Cor 7:7

But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You are our potter  and we are the clay.  Isaiah 64:8 

But I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper and not to harm.  Jeremiah 29:11

 

WOW! And that is not all the verses telling us we are unique, and we have different skills, talents, and so forth. 

Although there are similarities between different species, whether flowers, animals, human beings, trees and more, I find it pleasing to see some of the differences, and the beauty. I planted a few calla lily bulbs in some pots, and basically ignored them, letting nature that God supplies take care of them. They did however, get over-watered and were floating after a particularly long storm, and I did then drain them and add a little more soil…but that’s been it. God has supplied the rest. But it amazes me and pleases me to see the same, the graceful flower, while noting that each has its own difference.

God has created us to also be unique, while we share similar hobbies, hopes, maybe plans, we each have a different way to present, have had different experiences, and a distinct presentation that is ours. We each grow and learn differently, apply what we’ve learned differently. We are each unique. That’s beyond my full comprehension how we are created with so many similarities and yet differences. But I know it’s amazing.

We are not like another in every way. We may have similar talents, but each is unique; each has something to offer. And that is a wonderful thing. You cannot have everyone with strong leadership skills–there will be fights and dissension. You can not have everyone with talent for great artistry, then there could be no workers to do everyday chores. We need individual talents to make the world work together smoothly, and all the tasks can be finished. We are unique. And blessed in that uniqueness.

                                   

So just as each flower in my garden is unique, so we are each beautiful. with our own strengths, and uniqueness.  Revel in the fact that God made you special and He has a plan that is YOURS, and no one else can do it like you.

Pretty cool that He made us all similar, yet different, and special too. I am humbled to be unique. These lovely calla lilies bring beauty to “myBellaviews.”
